Job description:
SUFFOLK FA are recruiting a part-time Designated Safeguarding Officer to lead the case management and delivery of safeguarding of grassroots football across Suffolk.
This three-days-a-week post is an integral and critical part of the Suffolk FA team and will play an important role in keeping young people and adults at risk safe whilst involved in football.
The role will ensure that all safeguarding concerns are managed and resolved, liaising and working directly with the FA to ensure all case management is delivered in a timely and fair manner and support the team of Child Welfare Officers across the county.
This role is key to ensuring children and adults at risk are kept safe when playing and engaging in football and making sure clubs and leagues are delivering in a safe and effective manner.
You will be a part of the FA’s National Designated Safeguarding Officer network and work closely with the FA’s Safeguarding Case Management Team.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in safeguarding and experience in managing safeguarding processes and case management.
