Vaishali Bhardwaj to co-host Raise Your Game Conference

We're delighted to announce that Vaishali Bhardwaj will join Jordan Jarrett-Bryan as co-host of the Raise Your Game National Conference on 27th April 2023.

An award-winning sports broadcaster, she will share her insight from over a decade in the industry with over 300 young people who are aspiring to have a career in football.

Bhardwaj will draw on her wealth of experience at the highly-popular mentoring event at Emirates Stadium alongside acclaimed journalist and reporter Jarrett-Bryan, as the pair look to inspire the next generation.

She spent four years working as a sports writer for The Evening Standard covering domestic and European football, including covering Chelsea Football Club for three seasons. She reported from Moscow during the 2018 World Cup.

Since 2019, Vaishali has been a TV reporter and presenter for Premier League Productions (PLP) where she reports live on the biggest stories in the Premier League and interviews players and managers pitchside from top-flight matches.

Bhardwaj also reports at Premier League matches for Prime Video Sport, presents for Sky News and also appears regularly on BBC Radio 5 Live, Sky Sports News and also contributes to The Guardian.

In 2021, Vaishali was named the Sports Journalist of the Year at the Asian Media Awards.

The conference, which is free of charge and supported by the Premier League, is the pinnacle of the Raise Your Game mentoring programme, providing unparalleled opportunities for people from underrepresented groups who want to work in football, on and off the pitch.

The pair will be joined by a host of prominent figures from across the game, including Arsenal chief executive Vinai Venkatesham and Gunners Academy Manager Per Mertesacker, with mentors soon to be announced.
