As part of the Premier League’s Life Skills programme, each season we deliver our ‘Equality Inspires’ workshop to U9 to U21 academy players, parents, host families and academy staff.

We have delivered our workshops across Premier League academies since the 2014/15 season.

Our workshops are led by experienced facilitators, who bring a wealth of knowledge around equality, diversity and inclusion. Our facilitators connect with young players, club staff and parents, by using real-world examples and interactive approaches that help to challenge stereotypes, encourage open conversations and promote positive change on and off the pitch.

“I now understand what discrimination is and the different types... and how to create an accepting environment for all” - Academy player

In line with our new strategy, our focus is to create sessions that are both engaging and thought-provoking—offering space for open discussion and reflection surrounding discrimination, including racism. Each workshop is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical tools to help build and sustain an inclusive club culture.

From the 22/23 - 24/25 season, we have delivered 310 sessions to 7,819 participants.
