  1. The Department

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Social Content Executive to join our Content and Digital department. The post holder will join a dynamic and fast paced environment within the Social Media team – alongside the wider Content department (editorial, video) delivering outstanding social content that resonates with our fanbase.

 

  1. The Role

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Social Content Executive who can reliably assist with platform management and provide enhanced coverage for our First Team and Academy across all social platforms.

Working across the entire social media team, you will be responsible for providing matchday and non-matchday coverage across our social media channels as well as providing written match reports from Academy fixtures.

 

  1. The Person

You will have demonstrable experience managing social media platforms and journalistic experience to help grow and enhance our coverage as it pertains to our Academy teams. You will need to have knowledge of current social media trends and best practices as well as the ability to manage multiple creative projects.

With a proactive and can-do attitude, you must be able to make effective and quick-decisions in a fast-paced sporting environment.

Previous experience of working with a football/sporting environment, creating high-engaging content and covering live events is desirable.

You must also be available to work flexibly as this role will require you to work evenings and weekends and hold a full UK driving licence.
