Role: Grounds Maintenance Apprentice

Salary: In line with the apprenticeship hourly rate (currently £7.55 per hour)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: American Express Stadium, Brighton and American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing

Contract Type: 2-year fixed term contract

Deadline Day: 3rd June 2025

Kick-start your career with the Seagulls as a Grounds Maintenance Apprentice!

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about starting a career in grounds maintenance and football. You will learn how to perform routine grounds tasks and to receive instruction on works required to be carried out to the training ground pitches and associated grounds and facilities. You will also operate machinery and equipment associated with sports pitch and grounds maintenance.

 

As part of this apprenticeship, you will attend Plumpton College and adhere to the college requirements and instructions.

 

About you

We are looking for someone who communicates well and works great with others, including both team members and external contractors. You should be eager to learn, grow your skills, and develop your knowledge. A strong focus on quality is essential, along with taking pride in doing your work to a high standard.
