Job description:
Derby County are seeking to recruit an Academy Operations Administrator to join the Academy Operations department at our Category One Academy, Moor Farm Training Centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and proactively managing the Academy U9-U15 Games Programme, complying with strict deadlines, working closely with the Premier League, opposition Clubs, parents, and match officials daily, and supporting the Academy Operations Office with transport, administration, and reception duties.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee match administration for U9-U15 Games Programme
- Appoint match officials and handle payments for Pre-Academy & U9-U15 fixtures
- Submit Premier League tournaments and fixture amendments on Kitman Labs (U9-U15)
- Keep Fixture Lists updated and communicated
- Organise travel and hotel arrangements for U9-U15 fixtures
- Update and communicate Player List
- Ensure Academy players are registered and updated on Teamworks
- Plan match day operations for a positive DCFC experience
- Sign for and distribute Academy mail and deliveries
- Manage Player PRS Cards via portal
- Upload Training Planners to Teamworks for all age groups
- Create, update, and distribute Fixture Lists
- Support the Academy Transport programme as needed
- Order and monitor stationery stock
- Complete Premier League surveys for Season Handbooks (U9-U15)
- Greet guests and visitors
- Be the main point of contact for U9-U15 parents
- Schedule Player/Parent Review Meetings (U9-U15)
- Attend Premier League Administrators meetings (U9-U15)
- Manage the franking machine, send post, and arrange parcel collections
Essential personal characteristics and experience:
- Previous experience working in a football environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of working effectively to targets and deadlines
- Experience of working independently in managing processes from start to finish
- Highly organised and flexible with the ability to manage competing demands and deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative, solving problems as they arise

Qualifications:
Essential
- English and Maths to GCSE Level 4 or equivalent
Desirable
- Level 2 or higher Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration
Salary is competitive, dependent on experience.
This is a full-time role, and due to the demands of professional football, there is a requirement for weekend and evening work.
