Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for a Senior Coach Youth Engagement Officer to support its Community Trust operations at the bet365 Stadium.

The purpose of this role is to engage with young people from across North Staffordshire and provide both sporting and non-sporting opportunities in community and education settings that will create inspiring opportunities for them to participate in.

The successful applicant will be working with children and/or vulnerable adults in a regulated activity (or in close proximity to children and/or vulnerable adults).

Main Responsibilities

  • Engaging with young people from a range of different backgrounds and abilities.
  • Planning, delivering and supporting a range of activities for young people.
  • Improving levels of participation, ensuring all programmes and activities are inclusive.
  • Supporting young people in a variety of different settings.
  • Identifying and generating grant funding, partnership and commercial opportunities.
  • Helping monitor and evaluate sessions and activities.
  • Producing written reports as and when required.
  • Acting as a positive role model at all times.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach while working with young people, being considerate toward their needs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, positive and friendly.

Ideal candidates will be available to work evenings and weekends and be available to cover match day fixtures and other adhoc events at the bet365 Stadium

The position will be offered on a full time basis. All relevant training will be provided.
