The Role

• Manage a team of staff, including Coordinators and Project Workers, focusing on quality and continuous improvement of programme delivery and staff.
• Oversee programmes delivered under the MFC Foundation Social Inclusion team
• Manage overall team budgets, ensuring individual programme budgets are on track
• Oversee the performance management of team staff against individual targets, outcomes and overall performance.
• Ensure all programme data collection, monitoring and evaluation of Social Inclusion programmes is being undertaken.
• Review and analyse data and outcomes across Social Inclusion programmes
• Drive quality assurance by embedding frameworks and policies that provide the participant with safe, high quality and impactful provision
• Support and ensure equality, diversity and inclusion strategies are embedded throughout the organisation. Promote change and positively challenge discrimination.
• Develop and maintain effective and positive relationships with key stakeholders and partner organisations, including identifying new opportunities for MFC Foundation

The Candidate must:

• Have experience of leading and developing staff and multiple simultaneous project management
• Have experience of budget management
• Have experience of data and outcome management and possess excellent IT skills
• Demonstrate knowledge of social inclusion, community and youth engagement and/or equality, diversity and inclusion related to sport and/or charity/community sector.
• Demonstrate Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding principles and procedures
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be able to work/visit a variety of locations other than immediate work place on a regular basis
• Be flexible since hours of work will include some evenings and potentially weekends
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a valid driving licence, with access to transport
