Kick It Out has been nominated for the Community Organisation Award for Race/Faith/Religion at The 2018 National Diversity Awards.

The Liverpool Anglican Cathedral will play host to this year’s awards, which will be held on Friday 14 September as Britain’s most inspirational and selfless people come together to honour the rich tapestry of Britain, recognising individuals and groups from grassroots communities.

The prestigious black tie event recognises nominees in their respective fields of diversity including age, disability, gender, race, faith, religion and
sexual orientation.

Lord Herman Ouseley, Kick It Out's Chair, was delighted that the organisation had received the nomination.

"At Kick It Out, one of our key objectives is promoting a message of equality, inclusion and cohesion for everyone - regardless of race or religion - in communities across the country and as we move into our 25th anniversary season, it's great to see us recognised for our work in this area. We look forward to attending the event in September to celebrate diversity across our society."
