News & Media News Fans For Diversity Annual Report launched The Fans For Diversity campaign goes ‘from strength to strength’ according to campaign lead Anwar Uddin, as its third Annual Report is published. The Fans for Diversity campaign (FFD) is a joint partnership between the Football Supporters’ Federation (FSF) and Kick It Out, to identify and tackle barriers to attending live football for under-represented communities. Anwar Uddin, FSF Diversity and Campaigns Manager, says the campaign’s third year of activity has been extremely productive. “It’s been a privilege to lead on the Fans for Diversity campaign over the past three years,”Anwar began. “The campaign has been a real benefit to all fans by bringing communities closer to their clubs.” Over the last 12 months, FFD has held events with supporters across Premier League, English Football League and non-league clubs, supplementing a number of newly-formed supporter groups through the Fans for Diversity fund. The Annual Report details the campaign's support at clubs across the country includingthe Fans for Diversity Hub at Leyton Orient, Blues 4 All at Birmingham City, and the launch of the Lady Imps at Lincoln City. Anwar highlighted the positive work FFD has already done, but notes that there is still more to do: “There is still room for improvement and I believe with the help of fans across the country we can work towards more changes, and start to see a real impact.” To read the full Fans For Diversity report 2016 - 2017, click here.
