Maternity Cover – EDI Content Officer

About Us

Kick It Out are advocates on behalf of under-represented and minority communities in football, working to increase their representation in every area of the game – from grassroots to the Premier League, from the pitch to the side-lines and from the stands to the boardroom. We do everything in our power to report incidents of discrimination, educate communities, and mentor a new generation of people in the sport.

Job Purpose

The successful applicant will have expert knowledge of equality, diversity and inclusion and be able to produce guidance and learning materials. 

You will provide the specialist knowledge to support Kick It Out’s Digital Learning Manager in developing appropriate content for individuals, clubs and organisations.

The content will be used for learners via Kick It Out’s digital learning platform, aimed at a range of stakeholders across football, to enhance their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) knowledge and skills.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing EDI guidance and templates for clubs and organisations
  • Producing EDI learning content for individuals to meet audience needs
  • Ensuring content is relevant and kept up to date
  • Ensuring content is in line with legislative practice
  • Ensure content is suitable and in line with Learning and Development (L&D) best practice
  • Working with colleagues, stakeholders and partners sourcing additional learning opportunities
