Inclusion Officer - Wigan Athletic Community Trust You will:• Work alongside the Football and Sports Officer to plan and lead delivery at a HAF camp during school holidays• Recruit young people aged 8-18 to the Kicks weekly sessions, ensuring a high-quality offer which attracts and retains participants • Identify and work with partners to ensure the PL Kicks project is well promoted and provides inclusive opportunities for all young people to attend• Provide regular internal and external competitions and events for young people to participate in• Work with other Football Club Charitable Organisations to arrange for players at the Kicks session to play against others from outside the Wigan borough• Support young people and signpost to other relevant colleagues/partners where applicable• Run health and lifestyle workshops for young people involved in Kicks and other Community Trust projects• Support the delivery of youth intervention projects and work with colleagues to ensure high standards are met• Monitor activities in-line with funders requirements including weekly registers and evaluation forms completion.The successful candidate will have:• Excellent planning and organisational skills• Interpersonal skills to build relationships with professionals and participants• A clear passion to enhance life chances of young people• A will to work with hard to reach young people to achieve successful outcomes• Experience of project co-ordination to achieve positive results To apply for the position please email [email protected] for an application form and complete the form detailing how you meet the criteria for the role.
