Following a successful application to join the FA Women’s Championship for the 2021-22 season, an opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, dedicated and focussed individual to join SAFC Women’s Football Team as General Manager. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in sport, particularly football, and work with the Head Coach and SAFC’s Head of Football Administration to provide a first-class professional support to the Ladies Team.

This position will include managing relationships with key partners and facility providers, collating compliance information in regard to the Licence and assisting with marketing, observation and assistance of matches throughout the season.
Working with the Head Coach, internal SAFC departments and the FA Women’s Championship League you will need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to evidence great time management skills. Ensuring the Ladies’ Team is first class in its operation and processes is what we require – are you up for the challenge?

This new position will require the successful candidate to evidence significant exposure within a multi-functional pressurised and busy role. The right person for this role would be expected to attend matches and from time to time, especially during the season, work unsociable hours.

On a day-to-day basis this role will include planning, management of budgets and personnel, commercial development, general administration and communication with all levels, both internally and externally. There is a requirement for the successful candidate to be competent in using Microsoft applications and social media platforms. Additionally, the ability to travel to away games is a requisite of the role.
