A Football Development Officer position has also become available to help enhance grassroots football provision, with a specific focus on the local authority areas of Basildon, Castle Point, Rochford, Southend-on-Sea and Thurrock. The successful applicant will play a leading role in the improvement of grassroots football, in-line with the ambitious 2024 ‘Moving Forward’ Strategy.

The County FA are looking for an influential and motivated new member of the Development Team to help develop projects which support clubs, leagues, volunteers and wider partners. Applications are welcome until Wednesday 22nd June.

When identifying a suitable individual for the position, the County FA will look for experience and knowledge of grassroots football and The FA’s National Game Strategy. An ability to manage a diverse work programme and multiple priorities is also a requirement, as well as good communication and project-planning skills. This vacancy is not a coaching role.
