Everton Football Club is one of icons of world club football. As one of the bastions of the global game, with a rich and successful history, we are now setting our sights on a new, exciting future.

Our values underpin how we behave, how we represent our club in our city, and across the world of football, and how we look after one another daily. They provide a framework for how we work with partners, suppliers, and most importantly our fans.

We have a great opportunity for a Risk and Compliance Coordinator to join our Governance and Technology department. Day to day duties will involve the delivery of compliance activities across the Club, where you will play a key role in managing the Club’s ‘Safe to Operate’ Compliance Framework, providing assurance to the Board, Senior Executive Team and the Governance, Risk and Audit Committee on the Club’s key compliance requirements. In addition, the role will involve management of the Club’s insurance portfolio as well as responsibility for completion of due diligence reports on the Club’s partners and suppliers.

Supporting the Risk and Assurance Manager, the ideal candidate must be able to deliver compliance activity across the Club, acting as an ambassador for effective risk management with a focus on compliance, insurance and due diligence risks. We are looking for an individual who has great analytical skills with ability to manipulate complex data effectively.

The successful candidate must be able to build strong working relationships with management at all levels, with ability to secure a buy-in to the ‘Safe to Operate’ framework. You will also need to demonstrate strength in high quality reports summarising the results of compliance activity.

Ordinarily, the team is based at the iconic Royal Liver Building, but in light of the ongoing pandemic the team is working on a remote basis. This position is on a permanent basis, the closing date of this advert is on Sunday 24th January at 23:59.
