We have an exciting opportunity for a Content Executive to join our Media and Communications department. Reporting into the Senior Content Manager, the Content Executive will work across our range of Everton platforms to support the production of engaging, relevant and incisive content to a variety of audiences and stakeholders – including, but not limited to, Everton fans.

The successful candidate will work alongside our team of Content Journalists/Producers to ensure our content output supports the key Club objectives - with the aim of driving audience growth – the Content Executive will be suitably knowledgeable in relation to the means of delivery of content across all platforms, both online and offline.

This role will require a continuous contribution to the sourcing and production of editorial, social media and interview content for use across the Club’s digital media, broadcast outlets and print publications. Responsibilities will include playing an integral role in the coverage of Everton Women, who are thriving in the Women’s Super League and recently reached the FA Cup final, as well as sourcing and production content on our world-renowned Academy. The successful candidate will also support with daily updates of our website evertonfc.com along with editing audio, transcribing interviews and proof-reading internal Club documents and pages for our Official Matchday programme.

Essentially, you must have knowledge of news gathering and sports journalism, specifically in the football area. A passion for football would be an advantage. We are after an individual who can demonstrate excellent copy writing and proof skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment to multiple deadlines.
