An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative, driven and motivated candidate to join the communications team at Norwich City Football Club in the role of content manager. The role will be responsible for strategising, overseeing and delivering the club’s overall communications strategy through its in-house content channels.

The content manager will oversee a team of club journalists and video producers focused on disseminating the club’s narrative and boosting the profile of the organisation through internal and external media channels. This role will also have a strong focus on the planning process, ensuring that opportunities are maximised and that all activity is coordinated both internally and externally.

This is a fantastic role for someone possessing the attributes of building trust, being organised, valuing others and communicating effectively. The content manager will drive execution, foster innovation and focus on the fan when creating content.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Enhance existing and develop new editorial and video content to broaden the offering for fans on and all other digital platforms
• Ensure all content on and other relevant channels is maintained and accurate at all times
• Manage the delivery of all football-related editorial and video content on the Club channels throughout throughout the main playing season and at all other times
• Oversee new editorial and video content produced by Club journalists and video producers to cover the activities of the Norwich City Academy and Community Sports Foundation, providing support where necessary
• Be the expert in the use of social media and other alternative content distribution platforms to ensure growth on those platforms and maximum conversion of users through to the main club website
• Assist the head of communications on delivery of all content and media output against objectives and support strategies to consistently improve
• Support and work collaboratively with the editorial, PR and video teams to deliver engaging content covering all aspects of the Club and its wider business areas
• Plan content and wider activations in advance in line with the communications and Club strategy
• Designate and manage matchday duties between content and video colleagues, ensuring all channels are populated with written content, video and photography

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in professional content production, with an excellent working knowledge of content management systems and current multimedia distribution technologies and techniques.
