You will:
• publicise the work of the Community Trust and the Football Club’s support for other good causes using the club’s official media platforms and external media
• contribute to the club’s communications strategy to ensure that the work of the Community Trust and other good causes are a prominent feature and priority
• liaise with key club staff to organise regular first team and academy player appearances at club community events
• work with the Head of Community to create an annual communications and event plan.
• plan and attend Community Trust events to generate digital content
• maintain and enhance the Community Trust’s social media presence, in conjunction with the club’s official social media platforms
• film, edit and upload video footage for use within the club and Community Trust’s digital platforms
• attend all Wigan Athletic first team home fixtures to promote the work of the Community Trust and other Club initiatives.

You will:
• GCSE English grade A to C (or equivalent)
• Proven experience of using video, photo and audio equipment to produce creative and innovative content
• Experience of filming with high spec HD camera equipment
• Experience of using a variety of social media platforms to deliver key messages and measurable outcomes
• The ability to write accurately and concisely
• The ability to travel independently to from different club locations and events.
• Self-confidence and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Ability to use own creative initiative but also work well within different teams and settings
• Ability to prioritise workload
