THE ROLE
• To deliver football and multi-sports activity within East Cleveland and potentially wider parts of the Tees Valley area
• Support in the delivery of educational workshops within the community.
• Lead groups of young people to attend tournaments, experience days and events throughout the year as required
• Adapt sessions to the needs of participants and offer any additional support they may require.
• Undertake regular data collection (registers and surveys) at sessions
• Build trusted and reliable relationships as a role model for young people and vulnerable service users.
• Work with the Community Officer to input into risk assessments, health and safety and safeguarding
• Promote the vision, mission and core values of MFCF and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, as well as promoting change and positively challenging discrimination

CANDIDATES SHOULD:
• Have experience in delivering educational workshops and sports provision within disadvantaged communities
• Hold a minimum of Level 1 sports coaching qualification from a recognised NGB or equivalent experience
• Have a good level of understanding of social inclusion and the issues facing young people from disadvantaged communities and have a desire to make a difference to the lives of those young people
• Possess a high regard, knowledge and understanding of good safeguarding practices
• Be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong administrative, organisational and IT skills
• Be flexible since working evenings and weekends will be required where applicable
• Be eligible to work in the UK and have a full driving licence with access to own vehicle
