Help clean up our game and report discrimination
Despite this, fans, ethnic minority communities and players are still discriminated against, particularly at the grass roots level where abuse is common in amateur football across parks nationwide at the weekend.
Many fans, players, clubs and leagues have adopted a policy of Zero Tolerance. One incident is an incident too many. Kick It Out operates a reporting line that can be used to make reports, ensure effective action is taken and help you raise issues of concern.
Report Discrimination
To report discrimination in any footballing environment you can freephone 0800 169 9414 or fill in our online incident report form by clicking here.

Kick It Out staff are trained to deal with each caller and each incident sensitively and appropriately. Complainants will be asked to give us as much detail as possible, to enable the initiative to take the best course of action and make a detailed report.
Always report abuse to the appropriate authority immediately when it occurs, either to a nearby steward, the police or, in amatuer football, the referee.
Always remember the police have a responsibility to act on all reports they receive, regardless of where it takes place. For example, if you are assaulted whilst playing in a Sunday league game, the police can be called.
Kick It Out's role
Kick It Out takes every complaint seriously.
The campaign's role is to raise the complaint with the club or governing body concerned and monitor the issue to ensure appropriate action is taken.
Where the club or governing body requires additional advice in dealing with a problem, Kick It Out is able to assist by providing guidance.
Report discrimination in confidence
All complainants have the choice as to whether they wish their report to be dealt with in confidence.
Contact details are taken from you so Kick It Out can report back on how the club/governing body has responded to the complaint, or in case the campaign requires any further information.
If you have chosen to make a confidential report your contact details will not be passed on.
To ask further questions, please email info@kickitout.org.
