[Community] 'Just a Ball Game?' hosts FARE event in Manchester

Wednesday 31 Oct 2012

'Just a Ball Game?' (JBG?) and Blue Square Bet Premier club Hyde joined forces to stage a day of inclusive workshops in support of the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) Network on Monday (29 October).

'JBG?', a campaign tackling homophobia in football, received funding from FARE to run the event, in which both competitive and non-competitive football training, and sitting volleyball, were amongst the activities at Ewen Fields.

Local MP Jonathan Reynolds attended and gave his backing to Hyde and the club's involvement in the work of both 'JBG?' and FARE.
