Besiktas fans support Eto'o

Fans at Turkish club Besiktas have expressed their displeasure at the racial abuse of Barcelona forward Samuel Eto'o in Spanish football.
At Besiktas's game at the Inonu Stadium in Istanbul last Sunday the club's J.K supporters unfurled a banner reading "We are all Eto'o" in an act of solidarity with the African Player of the Year.
The Turkish fans actions followed the racist abuse endured by Eto'o during the Real Zaragoza vs. Barcelona game on the 25th February where the Barcelona forward was subjected to mass monkey chanting and had peanuts thrown at him by sections of the Zaragoza supporters.
Before the game supporters paraded another banner that read "We are all black" to underline that everyone in society should be treated with respect regardless of our differences.
In an email to Kick It Out the Besiktas fans stated that they were "very sorry about the racist attitudes against Eto'o" and went onto offer their support in the fight against racism, adding, "you are not alone in your struggle".
