Over 15 million people are involved in football at grassroots level, whether players, administrators or spectators.

Now The FA, football’s governing body in England, is looking to recruit some key players with a passion to ensure the grassroots game continues to flourish. The National Game covers grassroots football from local leagues to the Football Conference.

The FA is currently encouraging applications for the role of Senior National Game Development Manager and five National Game Regional Managers.

Senior National Game Development Manager (reference SDMNG 09)
Responsibilities
>
Leading and coordinating Football Development within the National Game.
> Leading the implementation of key targets within the National Game Strategy.
> Designing and implementing high-quality FA programmes and resources.

The successful candidate will have:
> Successfully designed and delivered Football Development Programmes.
> A Track record of designing high quality customer support services for diverse stakeholders.
> The ability to lead and motivate.
> Capability to develop effective partnerships including The FA’s Commercial Partners.
> Exceptional influencing and communication skills.

Five Regional Managers, National Game: London, South East, Eastern, East Midlands, North East and Yorkshire (reference RMNG 09)
Responsibilities
>
Leading the implementation of The National Game Strategy in one of The FA regions.
> Identifying and co-ordinating high-quality FA support services and programmes to a specific number of County FAs.
> Developing successful partnerships to maximise investment into the National Game.

The successful candidate will have:
> Extensive knowledge of Football Development, Governance, Operations and Business Development.
> The ability to lead and motivate.
> Capable of influencing a diverse set of stakeholders.
> A track record of delivering results and raising performance within established targets.
> Successfully developed effective partnerships to secure investments.
