BUCS 500 supports weeks of action

FURD2

British University and Colleges Sports (BUCS) is the national organisation for higher education sport in the UK. The organisation is also a major supporter of the One Game, One Community weeks of action.

BUCS represents over 150 universities across the UK and, working in partnership with Kick It Out, they have dedicated all fixtures during the weeks of action to the One Game, One Community initiative.

Posters publicising this commitment to the One Game, One Community cause have been posted at every participating university.

As well as this, 10 'focus' universities within BUCS are holding 10 specific anti-racism events.

One Game, One Community t-shirts are being worn across BUCS team matches, One Game, One Community pennants are being exchanged prior to kick off and Kick It Out captains’ armbands are being worn.

Additionally an anti-racism pledge match card has been circulated to all teams for players and captains to individually sign up to Kick It Out’s anti racism pledge.
