Experience football the Punjabi Wolves way

The Punjabi Wolves supporters club is offering fellow football fans the chance to join them at Molineux on the final day of the Football League season.

The club, the UK's largest organised group of ethnic supporters, has teamed up with Birmingham Midshires to bag  free tickets for the Wanderers' final home game against Plymouth Argyle, a fixture which could see the West Midlands side land a place in the play-offs.

Raj Bans, club coordinator, hopes the initiative will spark interest in those who don't regularly attend games, irrespective of who they support:

"We pride ourselves on having a broad and diverse range of supporters. We may be called the Punjabi Wolves but our membership consists of many different religions and backgrounds.

"We're hoping to tap into the well of football fans who, for one reason or another, don't feel comfortable attending games on their own. We want to show how uplifting and exhilarating, and above all safe, actually being at the match can be."

The organisation has risen from a relatively small group of fans to a club that now boasts support from as far afield as Vancouver, Dubai and Kanpur.

"Although our appeal has grown internationally," continues Raj, "we're still dedicated to giving fans on these shores an opportunity to soak up the match day experience that ordinarily, they may not have."

Anyone wishing to apply for one of the free tickets should contact Raj on 07970 274 041 or email info@punjabiwolves.com
