Kick It Out’s Mentoring and Leadership project, led by former England international Earl Barrett, has announced revised dates for its development sessions. Originally scheduled to take place during June, the events will now be held across the country in July.
The project, in partnership with the Equality and Human Rights Commission, is aimed at finding football’s future administrators, coaches and referees from within local grassroots clubs and community organisations, and addressing the wider under representation of diverse communities across the football industry.
Having informed participants about the project during consultation evenings in Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle and Bristol, follow-up development sessions will be held in each of these locations. The project has already moved onto the next stage in Birmingham.
All events are open to people who are already involved in the project, as well as people who would like to learn more.
